Born and raised in Bergen County, Sue and her husband, Jim, raised their three children there before moving to Monmouth County in 2001.

A graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, Sue graduated from Berkeley College of New Jersey, finishing a two-year certificate program in Interior Design. After college, she pursued a career in medical services and later in retail management. Twelve years ago, her love of interior decorating brought her back to Metropolitan Window Fashions where she became an assistant store manager.

Over the years, Sue has honed her skills with extensive product training from Hunter Douglas on shades, blinds and shutters. She is also trained as a Benjamin Moore color specialist and regularly attends trade programs on the newest fabrics and styles in today’s window coverings market. At Metropolitan Window Fashions, she has achieved both ‘silver’ and ‘bronze’ achievement certificates.

Sue cites her greatest decorating strength is patience with clients who are unsure of what they want. She helps them choose fabrics and colors that work well in their small cozy homes or those with larger, grand space.

As for favorite vacation spots, Sue enjoys being anyplace that she and her family can enjoy quality time together. When she’s not decorating, she spends her time volunteering at her church where she’s involved in programs for teens and young people.

Sue has done beautiful work in Holmdel, Colts Neck, Middletown, Brielle, Red Bank, Little Silver, Deal, Point Pleasant, Long Beach Island, Princeton, and many homes on the Jersey Shore.
