What’s New at Metropolitan Window Fashions! 09/14/09
Tuesday, September 15th, 2009New arrivals of beautiful quilts with coordinating window treatments and pillows from April Cornell. Midas is a luxury oversized, prewashed quilt in a traditional style in yellows, golds and green with co-coordinating accessories. Poetry is also a luxury oversized prewashed quilt in a contemporary style with fashionable colors of aqua chocolate and soft oranges comes with a full line of accessories including draperies and valances.
Two other new quilts include Autumn, a classic quilt pattern – luxury oversized, embroidered quilt with a berries and leaf pattern in the colors reminiscent of the fall season. From the Williamsburg Collection, we have Snowfall, a quilt in classic red/white snowflake pattern with beautiful appliquéd snowflakes. Coordinating dust ruffle is a full 18′ drop. Decorative toss pillows are available with most patterns.

Thursday, August 27th, 2009You may have heard about the product recall of over five million window shades that were sold at Target, IKEA, Home Depot Expo, Pottery Barn Kids and other mass merchants. The reason for this recall is that these products are not child-safe.
We want to assure our customers that we have never sold any of the products being recalled. We place a large emphasis on child safe window treatments that include break-away cords, cordless lift systems and motorized shades.
If you have any questions about your window treatments and whether they are child-safe, please call us – regardless of where you purchased them. Please ask for our custom decorating department. We are currently offering a rebate of $10 per foot – up to $100 per window – to replace old shades and blinds.
